- Domestic Tourism – centered on destinations on a specific country. This is done by residents or none residents not exceeding one year. It involves sight-seeing, visiting friends and relatives, networking and establishing ties and new contacts
- Adventure Tourism – going to unexplored places doing unusual activities, eating exotic things, etc.
- Cultural Tourism – focuses on the history, language, customs, traditions, art, music, food, way of life of the local area.
- Eco Tourism – nature based tourism because it highlights the physical environment on natural beauty while instilling conservation and preservation.
- Event Tourism – focuses on special occasions like tournament, seminars, conferences, festivals, gaming, etc.
- Factory Tourism – visiting areas of manufacturing or production centers. The assembly, packaging, marketing are features.
- Farm Tourism – agri-based or life in a farm. It is in rural areas. There are some urban centers which can duplicate the physical surroundings of a farm.
